Correct a text

⚠️ Editing a text is only possible from a computer on the website, www.imparato.io

How do I access the editor?

• Log in to the Imparato site with your credentials if you aren't logged in yet.

• Click on the 3-dot menu at the bottom right of the card for the text you want to edit, then click on Edit
  
  

  ⛔️ If the Edit option doesn't appear, it's because you are a member of a company and don't have permission to edit the company's texts.
  👉 Ask the company owner to authorize you to edit texts by granting you administrator status in the company.

• The following screen allows you to edit the title, author, or text and voices. You can also Delete or Archive the text.

• Click on Edit the text to access the text correction tool.

Correcting the text and voices

The editing tool is designed to be simple and intuitive. Here are some basics:

• All your changes are saved regularly as a draft. This way, if you accidentally close the window or want to pick up later, nothing will be lost 😅
• Multiple users can edit the same draft.
• You will need to follow a simple format so that the system understands how to identify a character, a line... All details are provided in our help guide Getting started with the text editor
• When you're finished, click on Ready to vocalize?
• Assign each role to its gender, Male or Female
• Optionally, notify the other actors of the corrections made
• Start the vocalization. Depending on the extent of the changes, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to nearly an hour.
• You will receive an email once the vocalization is complete and the new version of the text is published. In the meantime, you still have access to the old version.
