What should I do with my script after I’ve learned it?
You’ve just finished learning your script… and a little worry pops up: “What if I lose it?”
Good news: on Imparato, your scripts are safe — and you also have options to keep a copy elsewhere.
Can I lose my script on Imparato?
In practice, no — except in a few specific cases.
✅ Your account (and your scripts) are kept
Your Imparato account is kept as long as you log in at least once every 2 years.
And if your account were to be deleted due to inactivity, you’ll receive a warning email a few weeks beforehand.
➡️ As a result, all the scripts stored in your My Scripts space remain safe.
What if my script is in a troupe?
It depends on your role in the troupe.
✅ If you are the troupe owner (or an admin)
The shared script remains available as long as the troupe isn’t deleted by the owner (or administrators).
⚠️ If you are neither the owner nor an admin
In that case, you don’t control whether the script might be deleted.
👉 To make sure the script doesn’t disappear, we recommend asking the owner (or an administrator) to grant you the necessary permissions — for example, by making you a troupe administrator so you can move the script into your “My Scripts” space.

Do I keep my rehearsal rights on the script?
✅ Solo: unlimited rights
Only the Solo plan lets you keep rehearsal rights with no time limit.
⚠️ Important if Solo was purchased on a shared script
If you purchased a Solo on a script shared within a troupe, and then move that script into “My Scripts”, the Solo does not follow the script.
➡️ In other words: the script can be moved, but Solo rights remain tied to the original shared-script context.
Can I back up or export my script elsewhere?
