Add a Bookmark to Your Script

Damien

When you need to get back to a line quickly, there's nothing better than using bookmarks.

In fact, a bookmark allows you to instantly return to a line you've marked. It’s ideal for starting a line run at a specific spot or going back to a line that’s giving you trouble.

If you want to rehearse a passage over and over: easy!
Place a bookmark on the starting line, then whenever you want, click the bookmark and restart the line run.

How to set or delete a bookmark

First off, here's how to set a bookmark. A bookmark will always be attached to the beginning of a line.

  • Go to the line you want to mark. You can use your browser's "Find" function for this.
  • Hover your mouse over the line you want to mark; 2 small gray icons will appear to the left of the line: one for a bookmark, and the one below for a note. Click the first one.
  • The bookmark turns orange: your line is marked.
  • Just click the bookmark again to delete it.

PS: The bookmark will also be visible on your text in the app. But there is a difference between the website and the app: on the website, you cannot rename a bookmark.

And there you go, the hard part is done! ;-)

How to access a bookmark

Once your bookmark is set, you'll find it in the "Bookmarks" dropdown menu at the bottom of the page when you are viewing your text.

  • Click the dropdown to open the "Bookmarks" list and click on one of the bookmarks.
  • You are now at the corresponding line.
  • To start a line run directly from the corresponding line: once you're positioned on the marked line, click it to start the line run.

  • To rename your bookmark or delete it: swipe the bookmark to the right. You'll see two buttons. The first one (pencil icon) is to rename your bookmark. The second one (trash icon) is to delete it.
  • To start a line run directly from the corresponding line: swipe the bookmark to the left. The line run will start automatically from that line!
